| Welcome to the Regional
Niagara Spatial Data Online |
New Look! We have changed
the look and feel of our spatial data online website. You
no longer need to login to access the ortho viewer - instead,
only if you decide to purchase aerial photos will you be prompted
to login. If you have registered as a user prior to these
changes your old login and password will still work.
If you're a new customer you'll need to register with us to
purchase the tiles (you are given the option to register when
you attempt to purchase tiles). Your personal information
will not be sold or redistributed in any way.
If you haven't tried
the viewer in a while, you'll notice some other changes including
the ability to purchase multiple tiles in one session or select
an area for hardcopy purchases. The viewer help provides further
instructions for navigating the Region's aerial photography.
The Regional Municipality
of Niagara, Public Works Department creates and maintains
various map products in both digital and hardcopy format.
These products include aerial photography
and Regional road maps and
are primarily for internal use only but some may be available
for public use. The region has adopted certain standards
for mapping data and software.
These web pages were
developed to assist the general public and consultants to
both view and purchase aerial photography and other mapping
products available from the Regional Municipality of Niagara.
There is no charge to view this information on this site,
however, there is a charge to acquire copies of these products.
The aerial photography
is periodically updated by the Region. The existing image
tiles were acquired in April 2000. If you would like more
information regarding the tiles, or are having any difficulties
with the site, please refer to the specifications
or contact the region for further
assistance.
To better help serve
you, please send us feedback so
that we can improve our services to you. Your input is very
important to us.
